It is so disheartening to have a dear little child fall sick. It is unbearable to watch especially in cases where we can do little or nothing to ease the infant of such tortuous pain but to hope that some miracle happens.
As I would always say, “where human ability fails, prayer saves”. Do you remember the case of Jairus’ little daughter?_ Mark 5:21-43. With the simple words “Talitha kum”, Jesus can also call your little child back to life. So do not be discouraged. All you need to do is go on your knees and call on our loving Jesus to heal that child through this prayer:
“Lord God,
I praise you for your compassion and your goodness. Marvelous are your healing mercies.
Lord, as sickness has invaded my little one’s world, I stand by watching and feeling helpless.
But Lord, I am reminded that I am not helpless but powerful in prayer.
I lift up to you my precious child, and I ask for your healing power to fully permeate every part of my child’s body.
Lord, I ask that my child’s body be quickly transformed into radiant health as you respond to prayer and your healing promises in your Word.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen”.
