Bless our entries and departures!
Blessed are you, Lord our God, because you guide our steps. You bless our inputs and outputs; from birth until we die, you have us under your care.
Bless this door, O Lord, which we consecrate for this time of preparation.
Each day we pass through this place, draw us more deeply into your presence and the wonders of your love for us. You are the door of the Kingdom of Heaven, the door to eternal life.
O Portal of eternal peace, our new and living path, unlocks our sins and opens for us the door of salvation.
Oh God, protect our entrances and exits; Let us share the hospitality of this home with all those who visit us. May the poor find rest within these walls and all those who suffer from hunger find relief in our home.
Lead us Lord to you, for your mercy, and take us with you to the heavenly homeland.
You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
