I claim that authority as Your disciple and as a member of Your Body, the Church. I renounce every agreement I have made with darkness, whether knowingly or unknowingly. I invite Your Holy Spirit to fill every space that was once occupied by darkness.

Divine Protector, guard my mind from thoughts that lead me away from You. Protect my heart from desires that would destroy my peace. Shield my body from physical harm and disease. Defend my relationships from attacks that would break them apart. Watch over my reputation and my good name. Keep my finances secure from theft and loss. Preserve my faith when doubts and fears assault me. Stand between me and anyone who wishes me harm for any reason.

Jesus, I trust completely in Your promise to be with me always, even to the end of the age. Your presence guarantees my safety in this life and in the life to come. You forgave Paul who persecuted Your Church and approved the murder of Stephen. Your mercy extends to the worst offenders who turn to You in genuine repentance. I turn to You now with true sorrow for my sins. I am not just sorry that I got caught or that I face consequences. I am sorry that I offended You, who are infinitely good and worthy of all my love. I am sorry that I chose created things over the Creator. I am sorry that I hurt other people and damaged Your image in them.

Merciful Savior, I turn away from my sins and choose to walk in Your light from this moment forward. I renounce every sinful habit and attachment that holds me back from holiness. I break my agreement with darkness and pledge my allegiance to You alone. I ask You to create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation. You assured Your disciples that apart from You they could do nothing, but that they could do all things through You who strengthened them. I claim those promises for myself today. I wait upon You in this moment of prayer and ask You to renew my strength right now. Let Your power flow into my spirit, my soul, and my body. Revive what feels dead within me. Restore what exhaustion has depleted. Refresh my mind with clear thinking and wise perspective.

Mighty Deliverer, I need Your strength for physical challenges that drain my energy. Give me stamina to complete the work before me.
