Are You Depressed Or Sad? Pray This Powerful Prayer Of Padre Pio

If you are sinking into darkness, it is critical to “raise your hand” and ask for help

In the tranquility of knowing that the Lord has taken my hand and that I will not sink, I usually read this prayer. Sometimes I read it up to three times in a row:

Remain with me, Lord, for I need you to be present so that I do not forget you. You already know how easy it is for me to forget you.

Remain with me, Lord, for I am weak and I need your strength not to fall so often.

Remain with me, Lord, for you are my life, and without you I have no fervor.

Remain with me, Lord, for you are my light, and without you I am darkness.

Remain with me, Lord, to show me your will.

Remain with me, Lord, so that I may hear your voice and follow you.

Remain with me, Lord, for I want to love you very much and always be in your company.

Remain with me, Lord, if you wish me to be faithful to you.

Remain with me, Lord, for, however poor my soul may be, I want it to be a place of consolation for you, a nest of love.

Amen.
