Beautiful Family with Jesus Christ Pictures

Beautiful Family with Jesus Christ paintings by Nathan Greene.

Nathan Greene writes: “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.” Psalms 127:3

This category of paintings is very close to my heart. My wife, Patty, and I have three children and they have brought so much joy and adventure into our lives. What a blessing that God gave us the gift of creating families so we could understand to a degree the joy He experienced during the week of creation.

One advantage (of many) of an artist having children is that he has ready-made models to use!

Our oldest son, Tommy is the small blond-haired boy down at the bottom of the “Family of God” and our daughter, Bonnie, is shown sleeping peacefully in her bed while Jesus tenderly leans over to keep watch in “I Am With You Always.” Our youngest son, Daniel, appears in paintings in other categories and all of our children appear in “The Blessed Hope”.

God is our Father who loves us unconditionally, protects us, and can be trusted completely. In one of my early oil paintings “The Family of God” we see Jesus surrounded by people of diversity – illustrating God’s love for all and that we are all part of a world family.

Three paintings I really enjoyed creating were “Family Worship” to inspire families to take time daily for worship together, “The Night Watch”, and “I Am With You Always” to assure children that Jesus loves them and is watching over them even through the night.

Take time daily to spend time with your family, worship together, play together, and preserve one another.
